1957 Chevy
I painted this 1957 Chevy at a live painting event, "Artist's at Work". It was held at the Singing Waters Vineyards in Comfort, TX. I did an underpainting in yellow and did a preliminary drawing, and then painted the car from a reference photo that I had taken on my iphone. The painting is 20" x 30" acrylic on canvas. From this painting, I have had several people ask me to do paintings of their car or truck! The Picture above was taken outside in natural light. The picture below is my painting hanging at The Point Park and Eats. It is for sale.

Eric's Kicks
This painting was started at a district training session for the school district I work for. I am so fortunate to work for such a great district. The shoes were my instructor's. He set up a pile of shoes as a still life. This is an acrylic painting on a 16 X 20 canvas panel board. I am really pleased with the values on this one.

My Art at The Point Park and Eats!
I am very excited to have some of my paintings displayed at The Point Park and Eats. It is a very fun, hip & cool venue with lots of outdoor space, food trucks, drinks, and a play area under the trees. They have an old house that is converted into a gallery. My paintings will be there for the next 6 weeks. There are lots of different types of art, and it is fun for the whole family.

I took a picture of this in the shade outside, but it was still a little blown out. This is a 24 x 30 Acrylic on canvas. The paints are M. Graham.

Old Chevy
My latest painting, 24 x 30 Acrylic on canvas. I did the underpainting a bright Cad. Orange, so that it would peek through and gives great contrast to the aqua blue truck. I took this photo outside with no flash, but the actual colors are much brighter.
